What are my options?
College and Career
Why must humanity suffer? In his book, "The Problem of Pain", C. S. Lewis questions the pain and suffering that occur everyday and how this contrasts with the notion of a God that is both omnipotent and good. Join our discussion as together we explore an answer found within this book to this question. (MPR)
The Joy Life Group
Join us as we study Galatians and see the beautiful grace of God and Paul's case for justification by faith. We will be using John MacArthur's study guide. (Classroom by library)
The Truth Project
Dean Lapp will facilitate this DVD-based small group curriculum taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.
Come and be motivated to learn about, think about, and speak about your Christian worldview. (Library)
One Story: Christ through all of Scripture (practicum)
In the spring Tim Henderson and Paul Matzko will be leading an ABF that will help you practice learning to discover Christ in the Old Testament. In the class, you'll receive a guidebook to help you in your personal study of Scripture. Over the course of the week in your personal time in the Word you'll study our passage. Then on Sundays we'll gather to share what we've each learned as we develop this skill together. You'll learn a ton whether you were in the fall One Story ABF or not. If you would like to develop your ability to see how all of Scripture reveals Christ as our great Hero, please join us at 9:00 each Sunday in the (Sanctuary).
Men's Discipleship Group
This interactive group exists to help men develop a vital/ growing connection with God, authentic relationships with others, a life that is becoming more like Jesus, a greater impact for God’s kingdom, and a life that influences others towards Jesus. We will emphasize practical application and “sharpening” one another. (Keith’s Office)
